Just a little about me and the why behind this blog…
My name is Andrea and I am married to a wonderful, God-loving man and we both serve in our local church. I have worked as a registered nurse for almost 16 years but in March of 2020 the Lord prompted me to make a change and I embarked on a new journey outside of nursing. I am currently working as the Executive Assistant of a non-profit ministry that serves the hungry, homeless, abused, and addicted in our community.
I enjoy spending time with my friends and family and especially some quality “deep couch sitting” with the hubby.
My husband and I have been married for a little over seven years and during this time we have walked through four miscarriages. Despite the pain I have experienced, this journey has taught me so much about the Lord and standing on His promises. My continual prayer has been that there would be purpose in the pain, which leads me to the inspiration behind this blog. My heart is to encourage others as God has encouraged me. The intention of this blog is not to focus on infertility or the pain of miscarriage but instead to focus on the goodness of God and His promises in the Word of God. He is the God of HOPE.
